Meagan C. Nicholson

Meagan is an associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, where her practice focuses on civil construction litigation. Prior joining the firm full time as an associate, Meagan worked at VLP as a law clerk. During law school, Meagan participated in internships where she gained invaluable experience in the areas of construction, condominium and homeowners-association, business, commercial, landlord–tenant, and municipal law.

Native to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Meagan enjoys reading, baking, and traveling. In law school she traveled to Zurich, Switzerland, to participate in the University of Miami School of Law’s International Business Law Seminar at the University of Zurich. Meagan also enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Kingsley.

  • Represented contractors and subcontractors in prosecuting and defending claims arising from nonpayment, differing site conditions, defective work, and improper termination
  • Represented condominium associations and other property owners in prosecuting claims for fraudulent liens and for damages resulting from defective and negligent work
