For more than 20 years, she has provided professional consulting services to owners, contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and their counsel related to the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of construction projects. In addition to providing litigation support, Amanda advises clients on managing risk and making informed decisions during the planning and execution of their project.

Brad Copenhaver

Brad is a VLP shareholder based in Tallahassee and practicing throughout the southeast. Brad’s focus is representing contractors on transportation and other heavy civil projects. He has extensive experience in design-build procurement methods and works with contractors pre-bid in preparing and negotiating joint venture, subcontract, and design agreements.

Christian L. Cutillo is a VLP shareholder based in Tallahassee. Christian’s practice is largely comprised of representing prime contractors on public works projects throughout Florida. In addition, Christian specializes in contract drafting and negotiation for traditional, design-build, and P-3 contracts.

He has extensive experience in both vertical and horizontal projects throughout South Florida.

Jim is an active member of the Dispute Resolution Board and has been a busy mediator and construction arbitrator for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience in project management to include construction and engineering and claims consultation.

Joseph W. Lawrence, II is a founding VLP shareholder in the Ft. Lauderdale office. Joe is a seasoned trial lawyer who has tried scores of construction cases to verdict/judgment. Joe’s practice covers all aspects of construction law, including construction contract and document preparation.

Dr. Ed Minchin, P.E.

Dr. Minchin is a professor in the M.E. Rinker Sr. School of Construction Management at the University of Florida. In a 34-year career, Dr. Minchin has worked as part of eight major areas of the construction process. He has been a laborer and estimator for heavy construction contractors, as well as a designer, inspector, construction owner, researcher, consultant, and adjudicator. As a researcher and consultant, Dr. Minchin’s efforts focus on three academic areas: alternative methods for construction project delivery and administration, construction supply chain integrity and security, and construction contract claims avoidance and dispute resolution.

Nicole Moss

Nicole Moss is a VLP associate in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office. She has quickly become a “go-to” lawyer within VLP and a client favorite. Nicole’s practice primarily focuses on resolving contractual disputes in both private and public works.

Roger Peters spent most of his career as an officer and General Counsel to the Dick Corporation (now dck worldwide), one of the largest privately held construction companies in the U.S. With more than 40 years of resolving disputes throughout the U.S., the Caribbean, and the Pacific Rim, Roger now dedicates his practice to serving full time as a mediator, arbitrator, and dispute board member for construction and construction defect disputes.

Mike Piscitelli

Mike Piscitelli is a founding VLP shareholder in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office. For the past 30-plus years, Mike has concentrated his practice on construction, surety, and technology representation. He has extensive first chair jury trial experience, primarily in construction-related disputes, in both state and federal courts. Mike has participated in hundreds of mediations and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings, as well as administrative hearings, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Chambers USA in the field of construction litigation.

Rob Vezina

Rob manages VLP from Tallahassee where he is a founding shareholder. Rob’s practice focuses on public and private construction disputes in both state and federal courts as well as many of the largest and highest profile public procurements in Florida.
