Daniel A. Marquez
Daniel, who is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Construction Law, focuses his practice on construction law and litigation and has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, and sureties in all aspects of construction issues, including drafting complex construction contracts, bond and lien claims, construction defect and delay claims, contract disputes, warranty claims, and insurance coverage disputes. Daniel also represents community associations, providing general counsel services to condominium and homeowners associations, including reviewing and drafting contracts, enforcement of the governing documents, contested elections and recalls, and construction litigation.
Daniel attended Barry University in Miami, Florida, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and was a member of the baseball team. Daniel earned his law degree from St. Thomas University, graduating within the top 5% of his class. While attending law school, Daniel was a member of the St. Thomas University Law Review and earned CALI book awards in legal research and writing, property, torts, appellate advocacy, family law, and employment discrimination.
